Did you know?
Signal Fitness-For-Service has numerous options for crack growth analyses including variable amplitude fatigue and grow to failure.

Running a fatigue crack growth analysis is complicated by the number of variables involved; however, Signal FFS makes completing the analysis much more simple. Five different load profile options for constant or variable amplitude fatigue allow a user to customize the applied loading. Four types of crack growth laws including a simple Paris law, piece-wise power law, NASGRO growth rate or user-defined law are available for specifying crack growth. Signal can even run an analysis to different endpoints including crack length, crack depth, failure (critical crack size) and number of cycles.
